What is reflexology lymph drainage (rld)?
RLD uses a precise sequence of reflexology movements on the feet, focusing on the reflexes associated with the body's lymphatic system. The treatment is performed entirely on the feet and does not involve massage or direct manipulation of swollen or affected areas.
During a treatment, specific reflex points on the feet are worked using the structured sequence developed and researched by Sally Kay BSc (Hons). The pressure is adapted for your comfort, and many clients find the treatment deeply relaxing.
Sally Kay's work has received national and international recognition, including the 2019 National Lymphedema Network Award for Outstanding Contribution to Lymphology. Maria is trained in the Sally Kay RLD technique and offers it as a complementary wellbeing treatment.
RLD is a complementary wellbeing treatment and is not a substitute for medical assessment or treatment.
