Zazura is a mother-and-daughter clinic in Gilesgate, Durham. We created a private space where skin, aesthetic and wellness appointments are unhurried and feel personal.
Meet Samira & Maria
Together we run Zazura as a small, independent clinic. Samira leads skin, laser and aesthetic treatments; Maria leads reflexology and wellness, and is also trained in laser and light treatments.
Samira — Aesthetic Practitioner & Co-Founder
Samira leads skin, laser and aesthetic treatments at Zazura. She is VTCT Level 4 trained in laser and light treatments and trained in skin boosters and microneedling. She works conservatively, building results across appointments rather than all at once.

Maria — Reflexologist, Laser & Aesthetic Practitioner & Co-Founder
Maria looks after the wellness side of Zazura, offering facial reflexology and Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), trained in the Sally Kay technique. She is VTCT Level 4 trained in laser and light treatments and also performs tattoo removal, permanent make-up removal and skin rejuvenation. Her appointments are deliberately unhurried.

The clinic
Zazura is a boutique clinic on the first floor at 3a Sunderland Road in Gilesgate, Durham — a calm, private treatment space. Appointments are generously spaced, so consultations are unhurried and treatments feel relaxed.
Equipment and hygiene
Devices are selected for the treatments we offer and maintained to manufacturer guidance. Single-use consumables are used where appropriate, and surfaces and equipment are cleaned between clients.
