Everything you might like to know

If your question isn't answered here, just message us. We'd much rather chat it through now than have you book something that isn't quite right.

About us

Yes — and it's the part we care about most. Your first visit is a chance for us to talk through your health history, what you'd like to change and whether a treatment is right for you. For many treatments we can go ahead in the same visit, once you've had time to ask questions and are happy to give consent.

That's what we're here for. We work gently and gradually, focusing on balance and skin quality rather than doing everything at once. We'd always rather build up slowly and review together than overdo anything. Results do vary from person to person.

Start with a consultation and let's talk it through — there's no obligation to book anything afterwards. We'll suggest the gentlest option that's likely to help, and sometimes that's simply the right skincare and a little time.

Yes, a small deposit holds your appointment and comes off the price of your treatment. It's fully refundable if you let us know at least 48 hours beforehand.

Life happens — just give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to move or cancel and we'll happily rearrange. With less notice we're rarely able to offer the time to someone else, so the deposit is kept.

Yes. Free parking is available in the Sainsbury’s car park, which is a short walk from the salon. Please note that the salon is located on the first floor and is accessed by one flight of stairs. There is currently no lift access.

Congratulations! We don't offer injectables or most skin treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Some of our wellbeing treatments, such as reflexology, may still suit you — do ask and we'll talk you through the options.

Your notes, consent forms and any photographs are stored securely in our client system (Pabau), in line with GDPR. We'd never share your images without your written permission.

About each treatment

No. We dose to soften rather than eliminate movement, and we build gradually across appointments rather than overtreating at the first visit.

The needle is very fine. Most clients describe a brief scratch, and no anaesthetic is required.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy or in the rare event of a complication.

Treated well, no. We work under-corrected by design and build across appointments.

Most concerns respond well to three to four sessions, then maintenance every six months.

Please leave the skin bare for 24 hours, then mineral make-up only for a further day.

The radiofrequency energy heats the dermis, which addresses laxity — needling alone mainly addresses texture.

It is more intense than standard needling, but topical numbing makes it very manageable.

No. Vellus hair returns with the same texture and colour — the blade cannot change the follicle.

Yes, dermaplaning before a peel improves penetration and is a popular pairing.

No. Polynucleotides add no volume — they improve the biology and quality of the skin itself.

Yes, often on separate visits. We will sequence them for you.

No. Skin boosters sit within the skin and add hydration, not volume or contour.

Allow two weeks so any small bumps or bruising have fully resolved.

Not always, but if you have no history of deficiency we will usually recommend testing with your GP before starting a course.

Typically every four to twelve weeks depending on your levels and symptoms.

Yes — olive oil drops twice daily for three to five days makes the appointment far more effective.

If otoscopy shows irrigation is unsafe we will stop and refer you appropriately. You will only be charged for the assessment.

Not in the skincare sense — it is a therapeutic pressure treatment, though skin often looks brighter afterwards.

Please leave at least two weeks after any injectable treatment.

No — the pressure is deliberately very light, as the lymphatic system sits just beneath the skin.

Aim for two litres over the day following your appointment.
