Overview
Ear irrigation uses warm water at a gentle, controlled pressure to clear stubborn wax. We look inside the ear before and after so you can see exactly what's changed, and we'll always stop if we don't feel the ear is suitable on the day.
The treatment process
01 · Otoscopy
Both ears examined and photographed where useful.
02 · Assessment
History taken and suitability confirmed before any water is used.
03 · Irrigation
Warm water at controlled pressure, worked gradually.
04 · Review
Repeat otoscopy plus aftercare advice.
Recovery timeline
Day 0 — immediate improvement, occasional mild dizziness
Day 1 — fully settled
Week 1 — hearing stable
Ongoing — repeat only as needed
